Ty Cobb Single Signed Baseball Beautiful Autograph With PSA DNA COA. Having made shrewd investments in both Coca-Cola and General Motors, Ty Cobb was financially secure in his old age. His career accolades, too, were a source of great pride. By many accounts, however, the fiery Georgian was saddened that for all of his accomplishments, he had very few friends with which to share his memories, wealth and time.

It is well documented, as well, that in his later years, a somewhat mellowed Cobb complied with autograph requests, grasping for some morsels of communication and friendship. This single-signed baseball provides evidence of those efforts. The creamy and lightly toned Official American Association sphere is signed on a side panel.

Straying from his customary green ink, Cobb has signed in beautiful blue ink steel tip fountain pen. The autograph is preceded by a personalization (in Cobbs hand).
